Terms and Condition

Cleaning Service MS Cleaning Ltd. reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice.

By ordering any services with Cleaning Service MS Cleaning Ltd.  by telephone, e-mail, fax or it's website the Client agrees to be bound by Cleaning Services MS Cleaning Ltd terms and condition.

 

1. REGULAR DOMESTIC CLEANING & REGULAR OFFICE CLEANING

Home Cleaning Service Ltd,  fee for a regular domestic and office cleaning is £10.00 per hour and is subject to signing a Cleaning Service Agreement with MS Cleaning Ltd.

Minimum of 3 hours per cleaning visit applies. Customer agrees to provide a list of tasks and all cleaning materials and equipment needed for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with MS Cleaning Ltd.

All cleaning equipment should be safe and in full working order. If the customer does not have cleaning materials and the customer asks MS Cleaning Ltd  to purchase any items on their behalf, the customer understands that an applicable service charge will apply.

The client understands that the price he/she has been quoted does not include anything apart from cleaning and ironing labour.

If any estimates of how long it will take our operatives to do the job required are being provided that is only an estimate based on the average time it takes to clean a home or office of similar size to the customer's, it will be difficult to estimate precisely how long such tasks may take and the degree of flexibility required. If customer requires an initial meeting before the first cleaning visit a signed Service Agreement must be returned to MS Cleaning Ltd  prior to the visit.

 

2. CARPET CLEANING

A minimum charge of £50 for each visit applies.

MS Cleaning Ltd reserves the rights to amend the initial quotation. The client must provide access to hot water and electricity to the cleaner.Client understand that the company is not responsible of any damages of carpets apart of damages done by machine or chemicals provided by the company.

 

3. END OF TENANCY CLEANING/MOVE IN-MOVE OUT/ ONE OFF CLEANING/ AFTER BUILDERS CLEANING/ AFTER PARTY CLEANING

Minimum 5 hours per cleaning visit applies. The client can cancel/adjust the cleaning visit by giving at least 24 hours advance notice.  The client agrees to pay 30% of the quote as a cancellation fee in the event of a ‘lock-out’ which results in our cleaners being unable to deliver the service. This includes situations where there is no one at the property to let them in, no water or power available at client’s premises, or a problem with the keys to the property. The client understands and must ensure the property is ready to clean when we arrive.We have the right to charge an additional fee of £15 per hour for a waiting time. The client understands that the price he/she has been quoted does not include anything apart from cleaning service. The Client understands that  End of tenancy Cleaning, One off cleaning, After builders Cleaning, After party cleaning and Carpet Cleaning do not include the cleaning of; walls, old paint, ceilings, curtains, exterior windows, balcony, patio, gardens, washing up, laundry, and professional carpet and upholstery cleaning and we will not be liable for ingrained dirt that cannot be removed using proprietary chemicals. 

Cupboards and wardrobes must to be empty in order to be cleaned .Freezers must be defrosted in advance, due to the time involved in defrosting.

 

5. PAYMENT

End of tenancy cleaning, After  building cleaning, After party cleaning and carpet cleaning: cheque, cash or online payments would be accepted.
One off cleaning: service cost is £12.00 per hour per cleaner.
Payment could be made by cheque or cash.
Regular domestic cleaning: service cost is £10.00 per hour per cleaner payable by cash, cheque or standing order (subject to a signed Service Agreement).
Regular office cleaning: service cost is £12.00 per hour payable by cash, cheque or standing order (subject to a signed Service Agreement).

Other services such as Handyman, Gardening, Painting & Decorating,  payable by  cash, cheque or online payments would be accepted.

The client understands that payments are due up to 14 days from the invoice date.



6. COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS

In case of complaint, the company requires notification within 24 hours after cleaning work completion.  Claims will not be considered after the above time limit.

All complaints must be received in writing by email or letter.

If the client has scheduled an inventory check out, it must to be no later than 24 hours after the services have been carried out. Cleaning Service MS Cleaning Ltd will not accept a complaint based on an inventory check report filed more than 24 hours after the services have been completed. The client understands that he/she is not entitled to any refunds. The Company reserves the right to return a cleaner not more than once. All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed.  Items excluded from liability are: cash, jewellery, items of sentimental value, art and antiques.

In case of damage, the company will repair the item at its cost.  If the item cannot be repaired, the company will rectify the problem by crediting the customer with the item’s present actual cash value. Cleaning service MS Cleaning Ltd reserves the right not to be responsible for; delay for  cleaning visit due to a traffic congestion, job not complete due to lack of hot water or power, broken equipment (If provided by Client).

 

7. CANCELLATION

The client can cancel/amend the cleaning visit by giving at least 24 hours advance notice.

The client agrees to pay the full price of the cleaning visit if cancellations or changes to the date/time are made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

The client agrees to pay the full price of the cleaning visit in the event of a ‘lock-out’ where our cleaners cannot access the property, including situations where there is no one at the property to let our cleaners in or if there is a problem with the keys to the property.

The client agrees to pay the full price of one cleaning visit if the service is terminated and the company has been given less than two weeks advance notice. The client agrees that after the terminations of the cleaning service he/she will not hire or use the cleaner introduced by the MS Cleaning Ltd company or he/she  must pay a referral fee of  £500.00

 

INSURANCE

The policy will cover any accidental damages caused by an operator working on behalf MS Cleaning Ltd, reported within 24 hours of the service date. Insurance cover does not include anything that my break down or stop working at any time such as; dishwashers, washing machines, ovens, cookers, extractor fans, fridges, freezers etc. The client is obliged to warn the company or the cleaner about appliances that are poorly fixed or not in full working order.
